Ms. Denese Taylor-Moye
I, Denese Taylor-Moye, consider myself a servant to many. My truth in life has been to serve those in my community. I have worked 25+ years to try and build a better community. I strive to help all those in need whether in person or virtually. I have done many things in the community; advise families, after school programs, hot dog days, summer programs and The Marina Village Relocation Project etc. I have received many awards in the Fairfield County area, that includes: The Martin Luther King Award, Malcolm X Award, Above and Beyond Community Award and the Bridgeport Housing Authority Community
Award. But none better than leading Unique & Unified, where my love for serving others has intersected with my love for mentoring the children of Bridgeport and creating a better tomorrow.Program Coordinator
With a deep passion for children and community, Nicole Bass-Adams brings over 20 years of administrative experience and more than 15 years in the nonprofit sector. A highly organized and self-motivated professional, Nicole excels at multitasking, managing time-sensitive projects, and ensuring seamless coordination for local and surrounding communities served.
Guided by the belief that “it takes a village” to create meaningful change, Nicole is committed to accessibility and service, always striving to foster positive relationships and provide essential support where it’s needed most. Their energetic approach and dedication to community engagement makes her a valuable asset to Unique & Unified New Era Youth Movement, helping drive impactful programs that strengthen and uplift those she serves.

Board President: BRIAN DATCH
Brian Datch is the current Board President of the Unique & Unified New Era Youth Group and serves as a Board Member of St. Mark's Day Care. His dedication to community service is evident through his involvement on the Compas Community Advisory Board, as well as his membership in the Ryan White Part A Planning Council and the local Planning Consortium. Raised in Stratford and a long-time resident of Bridgeport, Brian has been actively engaged in his community for most of his adult life. He comes from a family that strongly believed in supporting the community and never forgetting one's roots. This upbringing has shaped his deep commitment to community involvement and advocacy. Brian remains passionate about fostering positive change, collaborating with others, and empowering the communities he serves.
Vice President: THERESA MANUEL
Dynamic results oriented leader with over 12 years of administrative and clinical supervisory experience in a non-profit social service setting with a proven track record of more than 5 years in marketing national promotional initiatives through email blasts and websites in the for-profit setting. Delivered 100 million collateral pieces to over 500 merchants and launched promotional campaigns in 10 U.S. locations. Managed $9M budgets, program development and redesign, relationship building with government entities and stakeholders. Contributed to the acquisition of 200 affordable housing in New York City through grant writing and government fundings. As well as launching successful fundraising ventures.
Treasurer: TOMMIKA LEAK
Results-driven leader with over 12 years of administrative and clinical supervisory experience in human services and youth program management. Played a key role in the success of a long-standing youth afterschool and summer program by leveraging email marketing and social media engagement. More than a decade of experience in marketing initiatives, contributing to program development, strategic redesign, and sustained growth.
